I found this carving of serenity among my brother’s things. It seemed he’d left her just for me. The watery heart below her was a gift from my friend Jean this week. She wrapped it in the festive paper floating like a dream above. They are gathered for you in the morning sun, a glimpse of peace and healing thawing our ferocious winter.

Have you found a piece of peace lately?

Do you have a name for your physical representation of serenity/ She is peaceful indeed! “Have you found a piece of Peace lately?” .., Watching other beings sleep restfully brings me such peace and comfort … looking at the softness of the lines on their face, the shadows cast by their physical features, and hearing softness of their warm breath as they inhale and exhale …

I don’t know her name, Mark–but I do love your image of beings sleeping! Thank you for it!
