Who’da thunk it? A set of spontaneous ink drawings I made over forty years ago to commemorate the process of a profound meal is being exhibited in a major contemporary art museum in Savannah — The Jepson Center — as part of “Off the Coast of Paradise” — a beautiful show honoring artwork made on the glorious island of Ossabaw. It opened in February and we were there.

There are thrills in life we can’t possibly anticipate.
